Favorite snack of the week! (Thanks to my friend, Megan, for the backbone of this recipe.)
Homemade Hummus:
1 can of chickpeas, drained
1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp lemon juice
1/8 cup of water (or drained liquid from chickpeas)
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp minced garlic (or garlic powder)
pinch of salt
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until desired consistency is achieved. Try it, it's really good!
